Return and Refund Policy

At MatTrap, we want you to feel confident about your purchase. We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return.

Return eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition in which you received it
  • Unused, unwashed, and undamaged
  • Free from pet hair, litter, stains, odors, or other signs of use
  • In its original packaging
  • Accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase

For hygiene reasons, used cat litter mats cannot be returned unless the item arrived defective, damaged, or incorrect.

Starting a return

To request a return, contact us at:

Please include:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Reason for the return
  • Photos or videos if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect

Returns sent without first contacting us may not be accepted.

Once your return is approved, we will provide instructions for where and how to send your package. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. Contact us as soon as possible if your item is defective, damaged, or different from what you ordered.

Send your order number and clear photos or videos to support@mattrap.co so we can review the issue and make it right.

Non-returnable items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Used or washed litter mats
  • Items containing pet hair, litter, stains, odors, or signs of use
  • Items damaged through misuse or improper care
  • Gift cards
  • Final-sale items, when clearly marked
  • Items returned without prior authorization

Exchanges

The fastest way to receive a different size or color is to request a return for the original item and place a new order after your return is approved.

Approved exchanges remain subject to product availability.

Order cancellations

We process orders quickly. Contact us immediately at support@mattrap.co if you need to cancel or change your order.

We cannot guarantee cancellation after an order has entered processing or shipped.

Refunds

We will notify you after receiving and inspecting your return.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Original shipping charges, expedited shipping fees, and return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the order arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Please allow your bank or payment provider additional time to process and post the refund.
